When I first walked into that cat show in Galveston, Texas in February 1998 little did I know it was the start of something that was to become such an important part of my life.

I met my mentor, Carol Lovgren, at that show and acquired my first three Tonkinese from her. You can still see two of those cats on my “Our Tonks” page, Ch Lovnpaws Bubba By George of Gulfcats, a Champagne Mink male, who is still in my breeding program, and GC, GP Lovnpaws Beary Precious of Gulfcats, a Platinum Mink spay who has since retired and now lounges around my front room bossing all the other cats around.

Little did I know at that time how my life would change. Over the years I have met many splendid people, some of which are now my closest friends. I have mentored several people myself over the years, because my mentoring experience was so positive. My husband, Paul and I have enthusiastically made the cat fancy our life. We have even taken on a second breed, but you can learn about them on the Japanese Bobtail pages of this website.

I have had many Regional winners over the years, birthed many cat babies, cleaned a trillion litter boxes, gone to an amazing number of cat shows and I still love it!
